Cancellation Policy

Notice required
Third Space OT requires a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Notice must be provided by email or through the JaneApp client portal.
Late cancellation & no-show fee
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 100% of the session fee ($150.00). Appointments where the client does not attend and provides no notice (no-show) will also be charged 100% of the session fee ($150.00).
This fee applies regardless of the reason for cancellation or no-show, except in cases of documented medical emergency.
Payment of cancellation fees
Cancellation fees are charged to the credit or debit card on file via JaneApp at the time of the missed appointment. A receipt will be issued automatically. Cancellation fees are not covered by extended health insurance and are the responsibility of the client.
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows
Clients who repeatedly cancel late or do not attend scheduled appointments may be discharged from the practice or asked to prepay for future sessions. This decision will be made at the discretion of the therapist and communicated directly to the client.
How to cancel or reschedule
Online: Log into your JaneApp client portal and cancel or reschedule directly

Please do not cancel by voicemail or social media message. Cancellations are only confirmed once acknowledged via email or the JaneApp portal.
Therapist cancellations
If Third Space OT must cancel your appointment, we will provide as much notice as possible and will not charge any fee. We will offer the next available appointment at your convenience.
